More Ultrasound Pictures

Today I realized that I never uploaded the pictures from my second ultrasound back in September. The ultrasound technician thought it was funny that she had her foot up by her face and kept trying to stick her toes in her eyes.

I went in a few days ago for a third ultrasound for the baby because the doctor was worried that I was measuring too small. Everything turned out to be fine, and it was fun to get to see her again. The pictures aren't nearly as good as before because she's so squished, but I labeled everything so hopefully you'll be able to see her. Only 6 more days to go!

You've got to be kidding

Today it took Benson an especially long time to fall asleep for his nap. When I went in to check on him, he was asleep laying with his naked bottom in the air and his head down. And there was poop on his naked bottom. To make things worse, he woke up when I walked in, so then he was super grumpy and hysterical the whole time I gave him a bath. Plus he hates poop and was freaking out that it was on his legs and bottom. I was going to take a picture but decided it was too gross to show the world. We are definitely ready for Daddy to get home today. We even left him a note on the front door.

Addendum: When Daddy did finally come home, he brought a little dog with him. Apparently he found the dog outside our house, and Mark thought that someone needed to take care of him until we found his owner. He doesn't have any tags, and I have no idea how we're going to find his owner. Daddy and Benson have named him "Buster." In other news, I'm definitely feeling 8 3/4 months pregnant. And, by the way, it's almost 10:00 PM and Benson is still not asleep. It's been a LONG day.

Lawn Mower

Erica just sent me a couple of pictures that Brian took when he was in town this summer. He brought Benson the cutest lawnmower that blows bubbles because Benson is fascinated with them and always wants to help when Mark mows the lawn. Brian said he had one when he was little and can remember following his dad back and forth across the yard with it whenever he mowed the lawn. Benson loves it and didn't want to leave it after he opened it (which is pretty obvious in the second picture).
